Bio

Born in Belgium, I have lived in a multilingual environment for as long as I remember.

Graduated with a BA in Japanese Studies from KU Leuven, one of the top universities in Europe for this field. Studied at Kobe University, Japan, for one year, and worked at Kanazawa City Hall as Coordinator for International Relations for two years.

Worked in Japanese, English, French and Dutch, and translated documents in numerous fields including tourism, marketing, diplomacy, PR, culture and arts in these languages. Translated and interpreted for local government leaders, diplomats, organizations and business owners as well as individual citizens.

Acquired Japanese Language Profiency Test N1 in Kobe in 2015.

Completed the JET Program Translation and Interpretation Course in Tokyo in 2018.

Currently living in Iowa, USA.
