Of Belgian origin, I
grew up in multi-cultural South Africa, where speaking three languages at the table
was normal.  My earliest conviction ?
Taking risks is a healthy part of life.

At 35 I returned to
Europe and became a global citizen. My vocation : sharing my knowledge,
passions and skills. Now, with a family of four living in the French Alps near
Geneva, I speak and work in French and English every day.

Teaching languages, communication,
management strategy and other subjects at colleges and in companies has always
been enriching, even when deliberately unconventional.  I'm comfortable in almost any context –  educational, commercial, industrial, artistic,
philosophical or just chatting over a glass of wine.

Finding the magic of
progress in each exchange is the key - whether seriously professional or
casually lighthearted. The 4 language skills always go hand in hand. The more
we listen, the better we speak. The more we read, the better we write. Constant
encouragement accompanies constant effort. My secret dream ? Finding a way for
language to become a universal federating force.

I'm also a retired
architect. Designing and building homes people love to live in gave me great
satisfaction. Many clients became friends. My creativity continues in designing
furniture and new learning tools. Travelling, T'ai Chi and hiking keep me zen
and healthy.

My life experiences
across various cultures in different fields have been a constant source of
inspiration, not only for me but also for every new client and student I work
with.
