Source text - English Today, for the first time in history, most people can expect to live into their sixties and beyond. A longer life represents an important opportunity, not only for older people and their families, but also for societies as a whole. Additional years provide the chance to pursue new activities such as further education or a long neglected passion, while continuing to make valuable contributions to family and community. Yet the extent of these opportunities depends heavily on one factor: health.
Translation - Persian (Farsi) امروزه، برای اولین بار در تاریخ، اکثریت انسان ها می توانند انتظار داشته باشند تا شصت سالگی یا بیشتر طول عمر داشته باشند. طول عمر بیشتر به منزله فرصت مهمی در زندگی می باشد. این فرصت نه تنها شامل حال خود افراد و اعضای خانواده آنها می شود؛ بلکه به طور کلی فرصتی برای جوامع هم می باشد. طول عمر بیشتر فرصتی می شود تا انسان فعالیت های جدیدتری را دنبال کند که می تواند برای فردی ادامه تحصیلات یا تحقق دست یابی به علاقه نادیده گرفته شده باشد.حال آنکه تحقق اهداف او کمکی به خانواده اش یا جامعه باشد. با این حال، حد و مرز این فرصت ها به طور ویژه ای به یک عامل بستگی دارد و آن هم «سلامت انسان» می باشد.
I am an English to Persian translator, and I have been
translating many different types of content professionally for over three years. My career started by working at Cimaghand Co. which is a commercial company in furnishing engineering equipment and I am in charge of translating and replying emails to foreign companies. Moreover, I have done many Business meetings as well as consecutive interpreting such as the 24th international Oil,Gas,Refining & Petrochemical exhibition.
Education
I hold a B.A. in a translation studies. Translating English into Persian and vice versa.

My
preferred software is SDL Trados as I attended two workshops in order to know all the ins and outs of this computer-assisted translation software.This makes me able to work with several different types of
files used within the industry.
