Let me introduce myself. My name is Olga Tomchuk, I was born in Russia, Siberia in 1982 in a family involved in international business and cultural exchange projects. I discovered my passion for foreign languages and art quite early and have kept my passion through my life. When I was to choose what University to enter, there was no doubt, I wanted my profession to be connected with foreign languages and at that time my dearest dream was to join UNO and work internationally, trying to make a difference as I believe in mutual understanding as a basis for better future for the World.
During my studies and after graduation had my first projects as interpreter but I was desperately lacking experience and at that time my thirst for knowledge brought me to Paris, France, where I spent five years practicing my French and studying art at Ecole du Louvre and EAC (School of Economics, Art and Communication), MBA in International Art Market.
Back to Moscow in 2012 I continued my professional career as a free-lance interpreter and later on I decided to get a specialised degree in Moscow State Linguistic University to be able to translate legal and other official documents.
I have collaborated with different Russian and Internationally based agencies and clients in various fields of competence : Architecture, Business, Engineering, Oil and Gas, Sport, Medicine, Philosophy, Nuclear Energy, Fashion and others as both Simultaneous and Consecutive interpreter.
Since 2020 I have been living and working in Florence, Italy.
Should you be interested in my profile, please do not hesitate writing me I will gladly answer your questions and provide more information about my projects.
