       Worked as Chief reporter for Qaumi Awaz for 22 yrs, written
hundreds of daily and weekly columns, editorials, covered extensively the Corporation,
Assembly and Parliament, for this paper.

Got published five book-selections of own writings in humor
including one published by Penguin books.

5.   Edited Hindi quarterly Journal Urdu Darpan of NCPUL a MoHRD
GOI’s autonomous institution. It was a unique digest of Urdu literature in
Devnagri Script. (January 2004 to August 2006)

Totally changed the format and lay out of NCPL monthly magazine
Urdu Duniya which was an instant hit and became so popular among readers, that
it is largest circulated and most beautiful Urdu magazine in India at present.

7.    
Conceived and started a new monthly magazine for children for
NCPUL titled as   ‘Bachchon KI Duniya’,
which again was an instant hit and broke all records of popularity and
circulation in Urdu including those of ‘Urdu Duniya’ Editing it since June
2013.

Awarded by Urdu Academy Delhi as best columnist besides UP Urdu
Academy and MP Urdu Academy as best humor wrter awards. 

9.    
A prestigious Humor-Magazine ‘Shugoofa’ brought a special
number on me in April 2013 which is available also on internet.

10    Visited
Havana (Cuba) in June 2007 as member of 
delegation of Indian  writers
(including KN Daruwalla, Om Thanvi) to participate in  5^th International Congress to
Save  Cultural Diversity of World, Riyadh
and Jeddah to participate in Govt sponsored Mushairas.

11     A literary
reception was given at London University in London in 2007

12    Written 32 episodes of popular TV serial Ajab
Mirza Ghazab Mirza for ETV Urdu.
