Source text - English A small village located on Mauritius’ south-west coast, Le Morne is circled by dramatic basaltic rocks lined with caves, luxury resorts and a wide beach with a shimmering turquoise lagoon. Overlooking the Brabant peak, Le Morne of Mauritius is referred as the best on the island. Le Morne is also known as ‘Cultural Landscape of Mauritius’, encompasses a natural fortress once used as a retreat for runaway slaves in the 18th and early 19th century. Today, it is a spiritual sanctuary, with its symbolic value and traditions about the resistance to slavery. Probably the best kiteboarding and kite surfing area on Mauritius Island, Le Morne is protected by a beautiful reef and also a host of the KSP World Pro Kite Surfing Tour.
Translation - Arabic قريةٌ صغيرةٌ تقع في الساحل الجنوبي الغربي لجزيرة موريشيوس. إنها قرية لو مورن التي تحيط بها صخور بازلتية ساحرة متراصة بمحاذاة الكهوف ومجموعة من المنتجعات الزاخرة بشتى سبل الرفاهية وشاطئٌ ممتدٌ وأهوارٌ تركوازيةٌ متلألئة. تُعد قمة باربنت الشاهقة أجمل معالم لو مورن بموريشيوس، وتشتهر هذه القرية الخلابة أيضًا بأنها "مشهد موريشيوس الثقافي" إذ كانت أحد الحصون الطبيعية التي فرَّ إليها الرقيق في القرنين الثامن عشر وبدايات القرن التاسع عشر هرباً من ذُلِّ الرق. وفي الوقت الراهن، تُعد هذه القرية وجهةً مقدسةً ومشهدًا خالدًا وقيمةً رمزيةً لمقاومة الإنسان للرق والعبودية. وفضلاً عن هذا، تعد لو مورن واحدةً من أفضل الوجهات السياحية في جزيرة موريشيوس التي يتهافت إليها محبو ركوب الأمواج والتزلج الشراعي. تتميز هذه القرية بحاجزها المرجاني الخلاب الذي يحميها فضلاً عن استضافتها لفعاليات المنافسات العالمية للتزلج الشراعي على المياه (KSP World Pro Kite Surfing Tour).
