My life as a Zulu translator began in 2007, where I received my translation training from The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses of South Africa. Here, I was trained in the art of translating from English to Zulu. I was part of the Book Team, which was responsible for the translation of Religiously themed books from English to Zulu. These books were later published and distributed to the local congregations and the public at large where Zulu is spoken in Southern Africa. In May of 2012, I began my career as a Zulu Freelance Translator. During these past 8 years as a freelancer, I have worked on various Microsoft projects e.g. Winlive, Bing, Skype, Office just to mention a few. I am also a Google and the lead Samsung translator for the agency that I get the majority of my work from. I have experience in general translations but I am also experienced in medical, legal, IT, religious, and educational material translations. I have also translated into Zulu many educational materials related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. I am the best at what I do, and most importantly I love what I do. |
