Born in the family of a career diplomat, I was exposed to foreign languages since my early childhood, and to be honest, it is hard for me to say which language is my native language. As I grow older, the essence of my roots overcomes the rest. And I should express that my native language is, in fact, Mongolian, same as my nationality.
I was engaged, since my early youth, to do all kinds of translation and interpretation works in my country. My first real employment in life was to work as a Referent Translator on various projects of the Mongolian Stock Exchange, then being established since 1991.
I happened to work in many sectors, including the government as well as the United Nations. I did a lot of translation, content review, language review as well as simultaneous interpretation works for various workshops, symposiums, conferences held at both national and regional levels, project documents, tons of reports in the mandatory areas of agriculture, finance, legal, environment protection, road construction, public administration, business and marketing and IT contracts/solutions. And all of this in my principle language pairs i.e. English, French and Russian to Mongolian or the other way round.
I am a graduate from the University of Delhi and the Graduate University of Mongolia with bachelor and masters degrees, before which I did my IB in the Ecole Active Bilingue J.M. in Paris, France, and was a pupil in the Soviet schools of the USSR embassies in many foreign countries, so that I am fluent and experienced with Russian translations almost to the level of a native, professional translator.
Also, potrafię z łatwością wykonywać różne tłumaczenia z języka polskiego na angielski. Chciałbym jednak być szczery, że tłumaczenia na język polski należy pozostawić tym, którzy są nosicielami tego języka jako ich ojczystym. Decyzja o zaangażowaniu mojego wkładu powinna opierać się oczywiście na konkurencyjności naszych stawek.
As a freelancer, I am pleased to offer you my professional translation services at the most competitive rates. SDL Trados is my main equipment.
