Source text - English Expressed simply, sustainable tourism can be defined as:
"Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities"
Conceptual definition
Sustainable tourism development guidelines and management practices are applicable to all forms of tourism in all types of destinations, including mass tourism and the various niche tourism segments. Sustainability principles refer to the environmental, economic, and socio-cultural aspects of tourism development, and a suitable balance must be established between these three dimensions to guarantee its long-term sustainability.

"Туризам који узима у обзир све његове садашње и будуће економске, социјалне и еколошке утицаје, који се односе на потребе посетилаца, индустрију, животно окружење и локалну заједницу"
Концептуална дефиниција
Смернице за развој одрживог туризма и начини управљања су применљиве на свим дестинацијама, укључујући и масовни туризам и различите сегменте туристичких ниша. Принципи одрживости се односе на еколошке, економске и социо-културолошке аспекте развоја туризма, тако да се између ове три димензије мора успоставити равнотежа да би се гарантовала дугорочна одрживост.
