With 17 years’ experience as a journalist behind me, I focus on translating, proofreading and reviewing website copy and marketing materials for hotels, businesses and high-end retailers. I also translate press releases and brochures for the tourist industry. I believe that language should not be a barrier to reaching a broader audience. I am quick to adapt my style to suit my clients’ tone, helping them communicate their message with ease. My strong writing and editing skills, and excellent eye for detail, make my work as a translator even more enjoyable. I am also keen to build on my experience gained as a reporter for the UK supermarket Waitrose, and would love to translate more for the food and drink industry. I am proud to be an Associate member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (AITI). The ITI is the only UK-based professional membership association for practising translators, interpreters and language service providers. I trained as journalist on the NCTJ accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism from Cardiff University (UK). |
