Despite by background (below), about 2 years ago I decided that AI was not for me. I am sure that for other translators it will, or is already, a good new tool.
I enrolled in a two-year course to become a voiceover actress. I really enjoyed every minute. We covered everything- from film dubbing to video games, from audiobooks to documentaries... to name only a few fields, and from recognised professionals too!
So here I am facing 2024 with the hope of starting a new and exciting career !

Background: Have worked for a food trader for over 20 years in the admin/logistics department. Everything bilingüal. Work included translations of specifications, brochures and leaflets, MSDS, PPEs, export documents incoterms, backup for sales department, basic contract conditions etc.
Have also worked as a translator for a period (2000-2004), and decided to start translating again since 2017.
Have worked in gastronomy field too, so I can also manage menus or recipes
