Bio
I recently graduated in Applied Interlinguistic Communication from the University of Trieste and successfully gained my Master's Degree in Audiovisual Translation from the University of Pisa.

English has always been my passion and eventually became my field of excellence. Thanks to my studies I refined my skills to the highest levels and also learned Spanish and Dutch. Due to its nature and my inclination to learn quickly, Spanish has become a language I find myself at ease with, especially when translating and intepreting passively. Although they require me a slightly harder effort, my active skills are irrefutable as well. As far as Dutch is concerned, my skills are so far limited because of its entire different structure and lexicon. Yet I can claim a certain level of autonomy in moderately formal settings.

My Bachelor's degree was fast-paced and filled with continuous assessments. We were translating news articles, commercial letters, manuals, handbooks about tourism and medical reports on a daily basis. Interpreting also implemented in the second half of the course and focused on the same topics.
My Master's degree strengthened my knowledge in the audiovisual field. I learned everything about dubbing and subbing (movies, tv series, documentaries, animation movies and reality shows), localization and videgames translation. All the theory was put into a lot of practice so that nothing would be overlooked.

I have experience as a freelance trasnslator in various fields:

Health and Medical
IT (Android apps, videogames, manuals, telecommunications, software)
Business and Financial (Q and H reports, business letters, emailing)
Blogs, Press, Articles
Subtitles, documentaries, traveling
Marketing, Art, TED Talks
YouTube and Vimeo series and videos (free and on demand)
Financial reports
Android, iOS and Windows apps
Social Networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
TV programs

And I am constantly trying to gather more and more. My ability to perform efficiently doesn't imply sacrificing quality, for which I care a lot.
