Bio
French to English translations, English to French options. I carry out my translations with access to online sources and references, and paper dictionaries. The type-ups are mostly as Word documents. I use online translation tools, while learning on a more advanced one at this moment in time. If requested I can do translations from English to French. I was a translator in France for three months for a telephone company, and I've worked for several other companies and organizations using my language skills in England. I tutor in both languages, too.
My first language is English. I've lived, studied and worked in France and England, and I've an excellent level in both languages, written and spoken. My real projects as translator are not many, so I'm concentrating on literature jobs, environmental translations in which I'm very interested, or commercial texts and similar articles. I accept to proofread or do Machine Post-Editing. I consider proposed jobs of less than 1,000- 3,000 words.
