Source text - English After a month and a half at the Cliffs', it is time to say goodbye. We still have a day of harvesting at the Mann Winery, but we want to start visiting the country. And so we did...in a very special way...
With two days of freedom, we headed for a 16km hike to Mount Observation and York, East of Perth. Everything should have been a piece of cake ... Nope!
First, we never found the beginning of the hike. Of course. So, of course, I guided Matt to York for another hike ... and, of course, Google Maps guided us through woods and swamps.
Literally.
Matt, carried away by his enthusiasm and his happiness of being off-road, hoped that our Chocolatine was a competition 4x4 ... So here he goes driving over big stones, above mini-canyons, in big holes, and in the mud…
Translation - French Après un mois et demi chez les Cliffs, nous leur avons dit au revoir. Nous avons encore une journée de vendanges avec les Mann, mais nous voulons commencer à voir du pays. Et ça pour en voir, en ce premier jour, on en a vu…
Deux jours à passer que nous avons orientés vers une randonnée de 16km à Mount Observation et York, à l'Est de Perth. Tout aurait dû se passer comme une lettre à la Poste… Que nenni !
D'une, nous n'avons jamais trouvé le début de la randonnée… Forcément. Alors forcément, j'ai guidé Matt vers York pour une autre randonnée… et forcément, Google Maps nous a guidés à travers bois et marécages.
Littéralement.
Matt, emporté par son élan et son bonheur d’être off-roading, a cru que notre Chocolatine était un 4x4 de compétition… Et que je te passe sur des gros cailloux, au-dessus de mini-canyons, dans des gros trous, dans la boue…
