English to Spanish: Myths in the Guarani Jungle General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Poetry & Literature
Source text - English In the fragrant jungle of the Guarani territory, amid the intricate vegetation, a group of people was moving slowly; some were on foot, others in the old wooden wagon, pulled by two strong white oxen. The men of the procession cut the weeds with their bowie knives to allow the advancement of the ones who followed them between pink lapachos, pines, fig trees, jacarandas, bark-d'antas, mimosas, milk trees, milkwees, silk floss trees, and willkas.
Natural and supernatural inhabitants of the fecund guarani forest were watching these strangers, who resembled the ancient inhabitants of the region, ruled by the great Jaguarete. Hummingbirds and blue butterflies danced elegantly, looking for some nectar from the beautiful orchids that adorned the blue-green jungle.

Portuguese to Spanish: Mitos na Selva Guarani General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Poetry & Literature
