Translation - German Weil es günstig ist. Weil es manchmal notwendig ist. Weil viele lokale Spezialitäten nur auf diese Art und Weise gegessen werden können. Weil es leicht ist in Touristenfallen zu tappen, wenn man eine Stadt besucht. Weil du ein Niemand bist, wenn du dir die Schuhe nie mit dem Öl der Pizza oder mit Schokoladeneis befleckt hast!

In 2008 I went to Italy to study languages and literature at the University “Federico II” in Naples. From day one I took translation jobs in museums and tourist office as well as started to work as assistant legal translator for an export company.
In 2012 I moved to Rome where I started a Master’s degree course in Language and Translation studies, which I completed in 2015 with highest honours. I continued my work as freelance translator and started to work for A&A Language Center in Rome as a German and English teacher, training students of all ages for international exams as well as translating Hotel websites and user manuals.
In December 2015 I went back to Austria for personal reasons where I now continue working home based. I have seven years of experience as a freelance translator and my main fields of interest are tourism, arts and literature but I am specifying now in finance and banking as well. Although all my work is done remotely, I enjoy having a human relationship with my clients get a deep understanding of their work and needs before accepting to work with them.
