Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Ahsan Iqbal, said Pakistan’s leadership was committed to taking bilateral relationship with Afghanistan to new heights.
Iqbal made these remarks at a meeting with Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Janan Mosazai, on Tuesday.
The two parties emphasized on making the region a cradle of peace and stability through economic integration and agreed on redoubling efforts for greater economic integration and cooperation between the two countries.
“The Vision 2025 lays a strong emphasis on regional connectivity. “Pakistan wants greater regional cooperation because it will benefit the entire region,” said Iqbal.
He added that the Peshawar-Kabul motorway would improve regional connectivity and assured that the pace of work on it would be accelerated.
The Afghan ambassador said Vision 2025 would promote regional connectivity and also appreciated the scholarship scheme of Pakistan government for Afghan students.

د پاکستان د پرمختیایی چارو وزیر احسان اقبال وویل، د پاکستان مدیریت په دوه اړخیزو چارو کې د افغانستان سره متعهده ؤ او دا اړیکی به نور هم پرمختګ کوي.
ښاغلی اقبال دا خبري د افغانستان سفیر جانان موسی زی سره د سه شنبې په ورځ په ېوه لیدنه کې وکړي، دواړو ډلو د سولې په خبرو او د منطقي د ثبات او همدا ډول د اقتصادي پرمختګونو په هکله ژمني وکړي او دي پایلي ته ورسیدل چې د دواړو هیوادونو ترمینځ دوستانه اړیکې باید لا پسي غښتلي شي.
