The jobs of the future don’t exist yet — but we know they’ll require some serious social skills
An education is supposed to prepare you for the future. Traditionally, that meant learning certain facts and skills, like when explorers arrived in America or how to calculate an answer using long division. Today, curricula have shifted to focus on a more global and digital world, engaging students in subjects like cultural history, basic computing skills, and writing code.
Yet, the challenges our kids will face will be much different than those of our generation. Most of what a typical student learns in school today will no longer be relevant by the time they graduate from college. A study at the University of Oxford found that 47 percent of today’s jobs will be eliminated over the next 20 years.
Over the next few decades, much of what we “know” about the world will no longer be true. The computers of the future will not be digital. Software code itself is disappearing, or at least becoming far less relevant. Many of what are considered good jobs today will be either automated or devalued. We need to rethink how we prepare our kids for the world to come.

Se presume que la educación te prepara para el futuro. a. How your camera works (this will be painless!)
Your camera captures light which is stored either on a photosensitive recording device, either a piece of film or a digital camera’s sensor. The amount of light that the sensor stores must be controlled by you or the camera for a well exposed photo with good detail to result.
A DSLR camera is set to recognize a ‘good’ exposure which is something like you might expect with a good snapshot taken with a disposable camera! A disposable camera will recognise a sunny scene or an indoor scene and not much in between. This type of camera has no focussing mechanism, and you cannot control the amount of light entering the lens. This simplicity keeps the price down on disposable cameras but it’s merits end there.
If the lighting conditions match the internal settings of the camera, all is well and you will get successful pictures. However, these simple cameras cannot adapt to different lighting situations. Your DSLR can adapt but although its internal presets are more sophisticated, the principle is the same. You have to take control if you want optimum results and if you want to express your ideas fully.

Tu cámara captura luz que es almacenada ya sea en un dispositivo de grabación fotosensible, en un trozo de película o en el sensor de una cámara digital. La cantidad de luz que el sensor acumula la debes controlar tú o la cámara, para obtener una foto bien expuesta y con gran detalle.
Una cámara DSLR está configurada para reconocer una «buena» exposición, ¡lo cual es algo que deberías esperar en una buena fotografía instantánea tomada con una cámara desechable! Una cámara desechable reconocerá una escena soleada o un ambiente interior y no mucho entre medio. Este tipo de cámara no tiene el mecanismo de enfoque y no puedes controlar la cantidad de luz que entra al lente. Esta simplicidad mantiene un precio bajo en las cámaras desechables, pero sus méritos terminan ahí.
En el caso de que las condiciones de iluminación coincidan con los ajustes internos de la cámara, todo estará bien y obtendrás fotografías exitosas. No obstante, estas cámaras sencillas no se pueden adaptar a distintas condiciones de iluminación. Tu DSLR se puede adaptar y aunque sus programaciones internas sean más sofisticadas, el principio es el mismo. Si quieres conseguir resultados óptimos y expresar tus ideas por completo, tienes que tomar el control tú.
