I studied Law with special emphasis on International Law and graduated in 2013. In 2011, I took part in an exchange program and spent a year studying at Université de Poitiers, France, where I attended International Law as well as French courses and seminars.
As of 2016, I am currently pursuing a university degree in both Brazilian Portuguese and French.
I have studied languages since the age of 9 and traveled also since a young age. Through the years, I became more confident about my passion for communication, languages and literature, and the desire to work in this field.
Since 2013, I have worked as a language teacher (English and French) and freelance translator, having made versions and translations of academic and legal works, as well as literary.
As a translator, I specialize in Social Sciences, International Law and Literature (fiction and non fiction). I also translate texts on Art and Entertainment, Architecture, Psychology, general documents and other related fields.
In 2015, for example, I made the Brazilian Portuguese subtitles for the popular canadian webseries "Carmilla", produced by SmokeBomb Entertainment, which can be found on YouTube (Season 2, from episode 6-36, as well as the bonus content from Season 2). I am currently making Season 3 subtitles as well.
In late 2015, I became a volunteer TED translator and transcriber. In late 2016 I started doing volunteer work for Amnesty International Brazil.
In mid 2016, I became an Amara On Demand translator.
