English to Spanish: How to discipline children General field: Law/Patents Detailed field: Patents
Source text - English In the world of parent and child, no word is more misunderstood or more misused than the word discipline.
Many parents equate discipline with punishment, and sometimes, punishment with pain. The word discipline really means receiving instruction from another, correcting, molding, or strengthening. In other words, it means to teach. There is little or no teaching taking place by a parent who feels the need to punish or inflict pain when a child misbehaves.
Translation - Spanish En el mundo de un>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
En el mundo de los padres y un niño, ninguna palabra es más incomprendida o más mal usada como la palabra diciplina.
Muchos padres equiparan diciplina como un castigo, y a veces, la pena por el dolor. La palabra disciplina significa realmente recibir la instrucción de otro, corrigiendo, moldando, o fortaleciendo. En otras palabras esto significa enseñar. Hay poca o ninguna enseñanza que tiene lugar en un padre que siente la necesidad de castigar o infligir dolor cuando un niño se porta mal.
