Hafid Chahidi is a young Moroccan poet, translator and scholar. In 2016, he obtained a diploma in Translation studies (M.A) from King Fahd School of Translation in Tangier . He received his B.A degree in English Studies (Majored in Linguistics) from IBN ZOHR University; Agadir-Morocco in 2014. Some of his poems have been published by several online journals and magazines, such as "Tower Journal", "Morocco World News" and "The Tunisian Tanit Boat of Poetry". His translation of a poem entitled” صرخة طفلة من الأطلس “(written in Arabic) by Mr. Hamza Chafiii, a Moroccan scholar and poet, has been published by the leading International Journal –Transnational Literature -(sponsored by Flinders Institute for Research in the Humanities -South Australia). His research areas are applied Linguistics, EFL education and translation studies. He will pursue a Ph.D. soon.
