Bio
I'm one of the most experienced Kazakh translators in the world at the moment. Thanks to my education, on-job training and work experience, I can deliver quality that meets and exceeds international standards.
Most other Kazakh translators cannot deliver the same kind of quality for two main reasons: 1) they have never lived in an English-speaking country (I have lived in the USA for two years and in the UK - for several months) 2) they have never worked (full time) for a company that has high standards of quality (in terms of accuracy and readability of translations) whereas I was employed for almost 5 years by a well-known British company that is world-famous for its very high standards of quality. During my time with the company, I received a lot of on-job training from British editors and trainers (native English speakers) and attended several training courses in the UK.
In addition, there are some problems in Kazakhstan that affect the quality of translations in the English-Kazakh pair. These problems prevent most Kazakh translators and agencies from delivering good-quality translations (from English sources). So in Kazakhstan, good-quality English>Kazakh translations are a luxury and not a must.
I'm not willing yet to discuss these fundamental problems here. But they are so serious that most Kazakh outsourcers and translation agencies will do anything to conceal them. If you'd like to know them, please contact me privately.
As a freelancer, I have translated for such well-known end clients as Microsoft, HP, Panasonic, McDonald's, Philips and many, many other household names.
My current CV and detailed project portfolio are available upon request.
