Nach Festanstellungen als Übersetzerin/Überprüferin bei der britischen Botschaft Berlin und der Deutschen Bundesbank habe ich wieder angefangen, als freischaffende Übersetzerin zu arbeiten.

I gained a first class degree in modern languages (German and French) at Cambridge University and an MPhil in European Literature. I have 18 years’ experience as a translator (German to English) and have a certification from World Language Services.
I have worked as a freelance translator and proof-reader since 2001, and was employed for a number of years by the Defence Section of the British embassy in Berlin and subsequently by the Deutsche Bundesbank as a full-time translator.
