About the New Federal Riding of Mississauga-Erin Mills
For the next federal election in 2015, the previous riding of Mississauga-Erindale has been split to form two new ridings: Mississauga-Erin Mills and Mississauga-Centre. Omar Alghabra has been selected as the Liberal candidate for Mississauga-Centre. We are holding a nomination election to choose the Liberal candidate for Mississauga-Erin Mills.
VOTING IN THE NOMINATION ELECTION
How to Vote
To vote you must be a registered member of the Liberal Party of Canada and have paid your $10 membership fee (no exceptions), and live in the riding. The Liberal party will notify you of when and where to vote, and your identification requirements.
What You Need to Know About This Nomination Election
There are many candidates running so you will get to rank your choices in order of your preference.
Put "1" beside the name of your first choice candidate, a "2" for your second choice candidate, and so on.
Who Should Be Your First and Second Choice?
You should vote for the best candidate. The candidate should demonstrate leadership, knowledge, integrity, and represent the entire community.
