I am an English-French-Spanish translator from the University of Antioquia. I also have a Master's in Comparative Literature, Literary, and Cultural Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Master's in Editorial Translation from the Valencian International University.
Since 2012, I have been a freelance translator for several agencies worldwide. I have also been a language teacher for pre-school, high school, and private tutoring. Furthermore, I have translated for publishers, academic journals, blogs, and private authors.
Since 2014, I have been collaborating with a French poet, translating and editing his writings.
Regarding my experience translating literature, I have three translations published by COMFAMA and El Metro de Medellín in their Colección Palabras Rodantes: A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare, Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke and a personal selection of poems by Walt Whitman; these correspond to compilations Nos. 58, 71, and 93, respectively; (https://serviciosenlinea.comfama.com/LecturasComfama/cuento5.html), as well as a bilingual edition of poems by Luis Fernando Macías: Todas las palabras reunidas contienen el silencio, All the Words Together Attain the Silence for Artepoética Press of New York and edited by Carolina Zamudio.
