2. REGULATION OF NON-DEPOSITARY INSTITUTIONS (NDIS)
2.1 General regulatory framework
(1) Is there a particular legal framework for non-depositary institutions (different from that applicable to deposit-taking banks)? Please differentiate between mortgage or housing credit institutions, consumer credit institutions and lease finance institutions.
• Non-depository financial institutions (NDIs), such as mortgage finance companies, are primarily regulated under state law. In New York, these institutions are regulated by the State of New York Banking Department (the NY Banking Department). The Superintendent of Banks for the State of New York, through the NY Banking Department, issues licenses and monitors capital adequacy (we refer to the Superintendent and the NY Banking Department interchangeably in this memo). Yet, NDIs may be periodically investigated by federal institutions such as the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). This type of federal oversight is often related to investigations of unfair lending practices. Housing credit institutions, consumer credit institutions and lease finance institutions are subsets of a broader category of NDIs called finance companies, which are generally regulated in the same manner.

Source text - English CACHET JAUNE (Jacques Guerlain - 1937)
Jacques Guerlain still had the letter in his hand. Unconsciously, he fingered the seal on the envelope. Its smooth, nearly perfect roundness glowed with the luminous colour of the sun. Yellow. His thoughts flew to the woman he loved and he imagined his 'parfum d'amour'. He envisioned it as tender yet sensuous, like a loving touch. Floral and spicy, as if his wildest dreams had come true. The initial warm top note of rosemary encounters roses in abundance with spice and carnation accents. A very sweet fragrant trail takes the olfactory pleasure to new heights with dominant vanilla, powdery iris and a delicate amber note.

Source text - English 2.3 Inserting and Removing an SD Memory Card
The DC E600 is equipped with 24MB internal memory, allowing you to record video clips, capture images, or make voice files in the camera. You can also expand the memory capacity by using an optional SD (Secure Digital) memory card to store more files.
1. Always make sure the camera is turned off before inserting or removing a memory card.
2. Insert an SD memory card in the correct direction, as shown in the illustration.
3. Close the battery/SD memory card cover.
To remove the SD memory card, make sure the camera is turned off. Press lightly on the edge of the memory card and it will eject.
Be sure to format the SD memory card with this camera before the initial use.
To prevent valuable data from being accidentally erased from an SD memory card, you can slide the write-protect tab (on the side of the SD memory card) to “LOCK”.
To save, edit, or erase data on an SD memory card, you must unlock the card.
While formatting the internal memory, do not insert a memory card into the camera. Otherwise, the memory card is formatted instead of the camera’s internal memory.
Formatting is an irreversible action and data cannot be recovered at a later time. Back up your data before formatting.
An SD memory card having read or write problems may not be properly formatted.
SD memory cards in the following sizes are supported: 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, and 1 GB. The camera is compatible with SD memory cards manufactured by Panasonic, Toshiba, and Sandisk. Please contact your local dealer for purchasing information.

General Safety and Health
This Safety Manual has been published to alert operators, helpers, and mechanics to the possible physical dangers that are present in all phases of operation and maintenance heavy equipment.
All personnel must be qualified and trained on the specific equipment they will use. Anyone working around such equipment must read and thoroughly understand the precautions outlined in this Safety Manual before attempting to operate or perform work. In addition, “SAFETY FIRST” must always be the primary consideration of all personnel when working around your equipment under normal or unusual conditions.
Since this Safety Manual cannot cover every possible situation, all personnel are expected to exercise good judgment and common sense when operating, servicing, or working near heavy equipment.
If there is any doubt about safe operating procedures of your equipment, STOP! Review the information supplied with the equipment, ask your supervisor or contact your nearest Customer Center representative for assistance.
Make sure all new employees read and understand the decals in this Safety Manual. Never remove this Safety Manual. Replace the Safety manual if it becomes lost, damaged, or illegible.
