I am a full-time English into Italian Financial, Commercial and Medical translator. My primary areas of focus include finance, banking, corporate documents, contracts and agreements and clinical and pharmaceutical research with particular reference to oncology. I hold a Master Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures and am certified SEFIC (Spoken English for Industry and Commerce) by the London Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Proficient in English by the Cambridge University Examination Board. As a Financial and Commercial Translator I am proud of my strong background (17 years) as a Banking Sales Support Specialist both in Retail and in Small Business, supported by many courses and certificates in banking, finance and contracts. As a Medical and Pharmaceutical Translator I have widened my knowledge working in the para-medical sector as a volunteer and a self-employer for more than 5 years. I gained certificates and CPD in the field, including a Certificate with Honours in The Biology of Cancer from the John Hopkins University (USA). I am SDL Certified for Post-Editing. I am a Career Affiliate at ITI (Institute of Translation and Interpreting - UK) and a Member of the ITI Italian Network.
