Translation - English This subject reminds me of a story of 3 ladies that I met fortuitously, mugged by the Jordanian father from a foreign mother in Latin America, to bring them to his home country Jordon, fearing from embracing Christianity, and protecting them from the western freedom. As soon as he reaches his home country, Jordon, he uses his absolute right in Proportions of his daughters to him, and issued them Jordanian passports, and get them married as soon as they reached 15th , assuming he is securing them socially and financially. Finally the three of them ended up serving homes, while the fourth sister who stayed with her mother finished her high school.
This is the law that gave man citizenship for his children with neither question nor sergeant, and prohibited his foreign wife from seeing her daughters, because she were forbidden from accessing Jordon, allowing him to destroy his daughters future. This is the law that refuses to recognize the right of equality for women, to obtain citizenship for her children from a foreign father. I will neither care nor discuss the right of this foreigner in having access to the nationality of his wife, just as the developed world. But I feel sorry for these woman’s who faces her family rejection first then her society rejection when marring from foreigner, then get disgorged from her government for this marriage for 2 reasons, first to stay In the infallibility of her guardian, even though he was ignorant as in the case of this father, and second the racism inherent in our society fed by the government, justified that the foreigner does not rise to the level of the country sons??!! Most importantly, keeping children’s without identity, even though they were born in Jordan.
If we believe that God Almighty calling his slaves names by their mothers names, in Day of Resurrection. So why do we deny women right of equality with men in naturalization of her children’s??
Enough denying women humanity, enough hiding behind fake faces in our society, we have to start self and objective criticism. Hoping unification of personal status laws in the whole Arabic region, and cancelling the word “but”.. “but”
