After growing up in London the first 13 years of my life as the daughter of a Dutch correspondent, my family and I moved back to the Netherlands where I continued my studies. Therefore I am fluent in both Dutch and English. In Amsterdam I studied journalism and did my work experience with a Dutch correspondent in New York. After working and traveling as a journalist for the Netherlands for more than ten years, I moved to Mexico in late 2002. Although having Spanish origins myself, I didn't become fluent in Spanish until after a year here. As part of my journalism studies in Amsterdam, I acquired extra credits for teaching English and Dutch as a second language.
I have been teaching Spanish and English here for years now.
And of course doing translations. This is the first time for me to try it online!
