I am a professional, reliable and highly experienced translator who is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
Before I became self-employed, I worked as an in-house translator/project manager in various areas of the translation industry after gaining my MA in Applied Translation Studies from the University of Leeds in 2005.
My areas of specialisation include marketing/promotional literature, press releases and general business correspondence, and I am particularly interested in the field of travel and tourism. The six years I spent in my most recent full-time role as an in-house translator have also provided me with experience of technical translation in the fields of architecture, construction and solar energy systems. I also have experience of website translation and software localisation.
