VSAA vairs neizsniegs iedzīvotājiem izziņas par apdrošinātās personas iemaksām
No 2008. gada 1. decembra VSAA maina Izziņu par valsts sociālās apdrošināšanas iemaksām izsniegšanas kārtību. Turpmāk VSAA šādas izziņas klientiem vairs neizsniegs.
Sociāli apdrošinātās personas tāpat kā līdz šim varēs saņemt informāciju par valsts sociālās apdrošināšanas informācijas sistēmā esošajiem datiem par darba devēju veiktajām iemaksām un apdrošināšanas periodiem, bet šī informācija domāta tikai un vienīgi, lai klienti var pārliecināties, kādi dati par viņiem ir VSAA rīcībā. Šos paziņojumus VSAA darbinieki neparakstīs un tie nav uzskatāmi par oficiālu apliecinājumu darba devēja veiktajām iemaksām.
VSAA ir spiesta noteikt šādus ierobežojumus, jo aizvien biežāk tiek konstatēti VSAA iemaksu izziņu viltošanas gadījumi.
Iemesls šādam lēmumam ir arī tas, ka šo izziņu pieprasīšanas gadījumu skaits turpina palielināties, un lielais klientu pieplūdums kavē pamatpakalpojumu – pensiju un pabalstu pieprasījumu pieņemšanu, kas ir VSAA primārais uzdevums. Paredzams, ka tuvākajā laikā turpinās pieaugt bezdarbnieka un slimības pabalstu pieprasītāju skaits.
Ja finanšu iestādes, lai pārliecinātos par regulāriem klienta ienākumiem, vēlas saņemt VSAA rīcībā esošo informāciju, VSAA piedāvā šīs ziņas par konkrētu personu nosūtīt elektroniski. Šim nolūkam jānoslēdz līgums ar VSAA, kā arī jāsaņem klienta piekrišana šo datu pieprasīšanai no VSAA.
Šobrīd jau panākta vienošanās par līguma slēgšanu ar PrivatBank, PrivatLīzings, Latvijas Biznesa banku un Latvijas Krājbanku. Notiek sarunas ar GE Money Bank un vairākām līzinga kompānijām (Mateks credit, Mobile Credit Latvia un Inserviss).
Izmaiņas ļaus izvairīties no izziņu viltošanas, samazināsies tiesībsargājošo iestāžu un arī VSAA darbinieku darbs, veicot krāpšanas gadījumu izmeklēšanu. Ieguvēji būs arī VSAA klienti, kuriem zudīs nepieciešamība apmeklēt VSAA, lai saņemtu finanšu institūciju pieprasītās izziņas.

SSIA Will No Longer Issue Information Requests about Contributions of Insured Persons
As of December 1, 2008 SSIA has changed the procedure for issuing Requests for information about state social insurance contributions. In the future SSIA will not issue such information requests to clients.
Socially insured persons, as in the past, will be able to receive information about employers contributions and insurance periods from the State Social Insurance Information Data System; however, this information will be available exclusively in cases when clients want to verify which of their personal data is at SSIA disposal. This requested information will not be signed by SSIA employees and it is not considered to be an official verification of employer’s contributions.
SSIA is forced to issue such restrictions because of the increasing number of SSIA contribution information request counterfeits.
This decision was made because the amount of such information request cases keeps growing and the increasing inflow of clients hinders execution of SSIA’sbasic and primary tasks – administering to the requests for pensions and benefits. It is predictable that in the near future the amount of unemployment and sickness benefit recipients will increase.
If financial institutions are in need of information concerning regular income of their clients at SSIA disposal, SSIA offers to send this kind of information, about a particular individual, electronically. Therefore, financial institutions should enter a contract with SSIA, as well as seek client’s approval that their personal information can be requested from SSIA.
Currently, agreement on entering a contract with SSIA has been achieved with the following banks: PrivatBank, PrivatLīzings, Latvijas Biznesa Banka and Latvijas Krājbanku. GE Money Bank as well as several leasing companies: (Mateks credit, Mobile Credit Latvia and Inserviss) which are still in the negotiation process.
The above mentioned changes will help to avoid counterfeit requests for information; it will reduce the work load of law enforcement institutions and SSIA employees, when examining the cases of fraud. SSIA clients will save their time by not having to visit SSIA personally, to receive information requested by financial institutions.

Elektroniski parakstītu dokumentu apritei tiek izmantota elektroniskā pasta adrese: [email protected].
Aģentūra pieņem droši elektroniski parakstītus dokumentus, kuriem izmantoti MK 2005. gada 28. jūnija noteikumos Nr. 473 „Elektronisko dokumentu izstrādāšanas, noformēšanas, glabāšanas un aprites kārtība valsts un pašvaldību iestādēs un kārtība, kādā notiek elektronisko dokumentu aprite starp valsts un pašvaldību iestādēm vai starp šīm iestādēm un fiziskajām un juridiskajām personām” 10. punktā minētie datņu formāti:
• nenoformētam tekstam – TXT;
• noformētam tekstam – RTF, SGML (XML);
• grafiskai informācijai – JPEG, TIFF vai PNG;
• vektoru grafikai – CGM.
Papildus minētajiem datņu formātiem aģentūra pieņem arī šādus datņu formātus:
• noformētam tekstam – DOC*;
• elektroniskajām tabulām – XLS*;
• portatīvā dokumenta formātu PDF.

Personai, kurai aprēķinātas pārmaksātās obligātās iemaksas vai pārmaksātās brīvprātīgās iemaksas, VSAA līdz kalendāra gadam sekojošā gada 31. jūlijam nosūta informāciju par pārmaksātajām obligātajām un/vai brīvprātīgajām iemaksām, norādot, ka attiecīgo summu var saņemt, iesniedzot rakstisku iesniegumu jebkurā VSAA nodaļā par pārmaksāto obligāto iemaksu un/ vai pārmaksāto brīvprātīgo iemaksu ieskaitīšanu kredītiestādes kontā vai pasta norēķinu sistēmas kontā triju gadu laikā pēc tā kalendārā gada beigām, kurā aprēķinātas pārmaksas. Personai aprēķinātās pārmaksātās obligātās iemaksas un/vai brīvprātīgās iemaksas, kas nesasniedz valstī noteikto minimālo mēnešalgu attiecīgajā kalendārā gadā, netiek atmaksātas kārtējā kalendāra gadā, bet tiek uzkrātas un atmaksātas pēc tā kalendārā gada beigām, kurā tās sasniegušas valstī noteikto minimālo mēnešalgu. Pārmaksātās iemaksas ieskaita saņēmēja kontā.

Refund of state social insurance excess contribution
Description of the service
No later than April 1st of the following calendar year in which a person has mandatory or voluntary social insurance excess contributions, SSIA will calculate the amount of those excess contributions. No later than July 31, SSIA will notify persons who have made either mandatory or voluntary social insurance excess contributions in the previous calendar year that a refund of the excess contributions can be claimed by submitting a written request to any SSIA unit, specifying a credit institution account or postal system account into which the excess contribution refund can be made. Refunds of excess contributions will not be made after three years from the end of the calendar year in which the excess contribution was calculated. If a person’s calculated excess contribution of mandatory and / or voluntary contributions does not equal the amount of one statutory minimum monthly salary for the calendar year in which the excess contribution was calculated, it will not be refunded in the next calendar year but will be retained and refunded after the end of the calendar year in which the excess contribution amount does equal one statutory minimum monthly salary. Excess contributions are refunded into the recipient’s account.

Funded pensions scheme investment plan changes
Description of the service
A participant of the scheme has a right to change fund managers once a year, and to change the contribution plan twice a year, if the selected fund manager has several of them. This can be done by submitting an application to any SSIA unit or to the cooperation partner.

A personal ID document (original) must be produced along with the application. When submitting a securely electronically signed request, no other personal ID is necessary.

Investment plan changes are made within 15 working days.

Description of the service
Persons eligible to join the state funded pension scheme: those persons who were born after July 1, 1971 are required to participate, but persons who were born between July 1, 1951 and July 1,1971 inclusive, have a right to join the funded pension scheme voluntarily, by submitting an application to the State Social Insurance Agency.

Service response time
A person who is required to participate in the state funded pension scheme is registered into the scheme when s/he initially becomes socially insured, but a person who joins the scheme voluntarily is registered into the scheme as of the first day of the month following the month in which the application to join the scheme was received.

A person has a right to receive information about their eligibility for pensions, compensations or benefits for their particular situation, c. In the future, SSIA is required to apply these same criteria as long as the legislation and circumstances have not changed.

The request for information must contain a description of the facts and any questions and explanations relevant to the facts, as well as a statement as to why the requested information is necessary. When submitting a securely electronically signed request, no other personal ID is necessary.
Service response time
The requested information is provided within one month from the day the application request was submitted. If for legitimate reasons this deadline cannot be honoured, the requested information is given within four months from the day the request was submitted.

Hello!
I am a versatile language specialist active in the field of translation and interpreting for more than 10 years.
Periodically, I have been teaching French and English at public and private schools in Stockholm area for about four years now. Since 2022 I have been working as a bilingual (Russian/Swedish; Latvian/Swedish) study instructor/ tutor at secondary schools.
Currently, since May 2024 I have been mostly translating. I have been translating from Latvian into Swedish and from Swedish into Latvian within the public sector (authorities, courts).
Recently I took on interpreting as well.
My main areas of expertise are: the public sector and law. My greatest achievement was translating in a money loundering investigation for a Tier 1 law firm on the behalf of a multinational financial institution.
Some day I would like to translate a book. My educational background is English Philology, French, Theology and Art History. Yet only about 300 ECTS.
I love to constantly learn new things. When I was offered to try translating from Danish, I did try. And, apparently, it went well. Knowing one Scandinavian language gives you a couple more.
