Through studying Modern Languages and taking part in the Erasmus scheme my interest in languages and different cultures was broadened. Following my graduation I decided to enhance my knowledge of translation through studying Translation studies which has not only taught me about translation theory but also about methods and skills used as a translator. My past work commitments introduced me to administrative work and customer communication. In my role as an assistant at a translation office I completed projects to deadlines and dealt with a range of problems. Through these experiences I have become adaptable and able to communicate well with people, as well as learning the values of team work. I am friendly and approachable, as well as hard-working.
