I have more than 35 years experiences in scientific research using animals and cells. My translation career started when I worked for a pharmaceutical company in Japan (10.5 years). I was involved in all stages necessary for licensure of new medicines doing experiments, compiling documents, translation, etc. Since 2006, I have started working as a freelance translator for Japanese - English translation (both directions), editing English scientific papers in addition to being a research scientist. My expertise is in medicine (general, scientific papers, devices, manuals, etc.), pharmacology, physiology, immunology, clinical studies (informed consent, recruiting materials, reports, etc.), botany, biology, chemistry (chemical analysis), safety, among others.I focus on understanding context and translate them into simple & clear sentences.
