Registered Nurse with deeper knowledge of German and Italian available for German to English and Italian to English translation with a specialty in medical subjects. Twelve years of clinical work in a variety of settings in the US, UK and Switzerland.

Fluent in German since childhood (mother is Austrian), excellent working knowledge of Italian, 12 years of French in school and college. Over 25 years of living and working in German-speaking countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Namibia and South Tirol), nursing training completed in Germany. 15 years of living and working in Italy including translation and TEFL work.

Since February 2013 I have accepted and completed translation assignments through other free-lance sites ( for example, TRADUguide) from agencies and from private individuals on a variety of topics from German to English and Italian to English.

I am a member of the ATA. I am now a Certified Translation Professional after passing the certification examination for German/English offered by the Global Translation Institute in November 2013. Since September 0f 2013 I have been a student at the NYU SPCS in the online German<>English Translation Course.
