Bio
A native US English speaker with a background in literature, education and marketing, I have been translating and interpreting from French since 2006.

The style of my prose reflects a lifelong enchantment with well-crafted language and an insatiable reading habit. I have lived and worked extensively in the US and France (+10 years each), and also a short while in the UK (2 years) and Russia (2 months). Through these experiences, I have acquired a broad base of cultural understanding which nourishes my translation practice.

I am currently pursuing a rather demanding Master's in Legal Translation in France, learning the ins and outs of the common and civil law traditions, the various legal professions in the US, the UK and France, the terminology of trusts and much more. 

My other areas of translating expertise include sustainable development, environmental protection, marketing, tourism, food and wine, luxury goods, fashion and tech. I also specialize in adapting and translating CVs (resumes) written in French or English.
