My name is Sabrina and I am a professional translator and conference interpreter currently based in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, being my working languages English, Spanish and German.
I love my job as I find it very satisfying to help people who have difficulties in communication.
I also believe, that it is always essential to know that other people do truly understand you, but especially when it comes to business, education and training.
The experiences that I have had so far, involve simultaneous (and whispering), RSI (remote simultaneous interpreting), consecutive and liaison interpreting in my working language group EN-DE-ES,mainly carrying out projects in the language combinations ES<>DE and EN>ES/DE.
I am bilingual in German and Spanish and I have also lived in the U.K., New Zealand and Australia. I consider that living in the country of your working language is as essential as keeping up with your native language.
I am flexible depending on the assignment, workload and final client as I think that the necessities vary as well.
I have family in Germany and Spain, so I often travel between these countries but since I am currently living in Costa Rica, I am open to new opportunities in the region.
For more information, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm happy to provide references and more detailed explanations about my experience.
