Source text - English The UK has become the drug and alcohol "addictions capital of Europe", a think tank has warned.
The Centre for Social Justice - set up by Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith - said drink and drug abuse cost the UK £36bn a year.
Its report warned that the UK has become a hub for websites peddling potentially dangerous "legal highs".
The CSJ also criticised the government for failing to tackle heroin addiction and cheaply available alcohol.
The report, NO QUICK FIX, found that last year 52 people in England and Wales died after taking legal highs, up from 28 the previous year.

Source text - Spanish La inmunodeficiencia combinada grave (IDCG) es una enfermedad hereditaria que afecta a nuestro sistema inmunitario. La característica distintiva de esta enfermedad es un defecto importante en los linfocitos T y los linfocitos B. Se trata de los glóbulos blancos de nuestro sistema inmunitario, las células que nos permiten combatir las infecciones causadas por virus, hongos y bacterias.
El recién nacido se haya en gran medida protegido de las infecciones gracias a la inmunidad que recibe de la madre. De esta manera, el recién nacido cuenta con tiempo suficiente para que su sistema inmunitario madure y se convierta en un sistema de defensa competente. Los niños que heredan la IDCG no pueden defenderse y están expuestos a padecer enfermedades como neumonía y meningitis.
La IDCG es en realidad un grupo de enfermedades que se caracterizan todas por ser muy poco frecuentes, hereditarias, y causadas por un gen mutante.
Translation - English Severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) is a hereditary disease, which affects our immune system. The distinctive characteristic of the disease is an important defect in the T and B lymphocytes. It is about the white blood cells of our immune system, the cells that allow us to fight infections causes by viruses, funguses and bacteria.
The newborn babies are widely or largely protected from infections due to the immunity that they receive from its their mothers. Therefore, the new baby has time enough to mature its immunity system, and develop it into a competent defense system. Children that inherit SCID are not able to defend themselves so they are exposed to suffer diseases such as pneumonia and meningitis.
SCID actually refers to a group of diseases, all rare, all inherited and all the result of a defective gene.
