I was born in Norway, and later moved to the US. I studied architecture in London, UK, and have been working as an architect and designer, in various roles, for more than 25 years, in private and public offices. I have also taught architecture.

I worked as an in-house translator within the tourism industry, before becoming a free-lance translator a few years ago. Due to the broadness of my experience I am able to take on a variety of translations.

My translations have included: Legal and technical documents, ethics policies, contracts, manuals, tender documents within construction and engineering, inventions, privacy policies, tender documents for building projects, travel, hotel and tourist information, architectural documents, CVs, company websites, press releases, templates, game development, old handwritten Norwegian documents.

I have a CPE from Cambridge University. My research skills are very good.
