I am Cypriot and I am a native speaker of Greek language and the Cypriot dialect and fluent in English.
I am a freelance interpreter and translator and an English language teacher.

I have a Bachelor degree in English Language and Literature and a Masters degree in Theory and Practice of Translation.

At the moment I am more professionally familiar with interpreting for which I serve the Greek and Cypriot communities, mostly dealing with tribunals, social services and the NHS, mainly in London. I do phone interpreting and consecutive interpreting.

My experience as a translator includes extracts from all different fields of translation i.e. legal, literary and medical but mostly GP letters and other general documents including health and medical information leaflets, nutrition extracts, mainly short texts from various agencies and/or organizations.

I have worked as a full time English language teacher in Cyprus for young learners and adults for professional and academic needs such as IELTS.

I have also worked for the NHS as an administrator for 5 years.

I am looking forward to moving to a more advanced language level for Spanish and Turkish as I am a beginner speaker. I have excellent computer skills and as a former English teacher, am adept at making presentations and organizing material.
