Source text - English The focus of DTAs is wider than the elimination of double taxation. They reduce tax impediments to cross-border trade and investment and assist tax administration. This is achieved by:
eliminating certain forms of double taxation;
reducing withholding taxes on cross-border investments;
prescribing how certain profits are to be calculated;
exempting certain short-term activities in the host state from income tax;
providing certainty of treatment;
providing procedures that assist in resolving disputes; and
enabling information to be exchanged between tax administrations.
New Zealand's DTA network is targeted to include countries where real benefits are likely to accrue. Benefits are likely to be limited if there are low levels of trade and investment between New Zealand and the other country or if the tax system in the other country does not produce tax problems that a DTA would be expected to remedy.
For example, if income is not taxed in the other country or withholding tax rates are at levels ordinarily set under DTAs, little benefit is likely to accrue. Therefore, the emphasis of a DTA is on resolving tax problems that are impediments to trade and investment between two countries.
Translation - Russian Договоры об избежании двойного налогообложения касаются более широкого спектра, чем двойное налогообложение. Они служат для уменьшения налоговых препятствий во время трансграничной торговли и инвестирования, а также способствуют администрированию налогов, что достигается путем:
избежания некоторых форм двойного налогообложения;
уменьшения взимания налогов с трансграничных инвестиций;
определения способа подсчета некоторых видов прибыли;
освобождения от налога на прибыль некоторых видов деятельности в государстве пребывания;
обеспечения однозначного обращения;
обеспечения процедур для разрешения споров и
возможности обмена информацией между налоговыми органами.
Система договоров Новой Зеландии об избежании двойного налогообложения строится так, чтобы включить страны, в которых формируется настоящая прибыль. Вероятнее всего, что прибыль будет ограничена, если между Новой Зеландией и другой страной существует низкий уровень торгового оборота и инвестиций или, если в налоговой системе другой страны не создаются проблемы для налогообложения, которые необходимо устранять с помощью договора об избежании двойного налогообложения.

компания «Мет» СА (Франция), в лице Генерального менеджера Госпожи Х действующей на основании зарегистрированного Устава, в соответствии с которым она имеет право представлять Компанию и подписывать документы от ее имени, далее по тексту «Продавец»
и
Общество с ограниченной ответственностью «Май», ИНН Y, зарегистрированное по адресу: Z, в лице Генерального директора господина A, действующего на основании зарегистрированного Устава, в соответствии с которым он имеет право представлять общество и подписывать документы от его имени, далее по тексту «Покупатель»
и
Общество с ограниченной ответственностью «M», ИНН B, зарегистрированное по адресу: C, в лице Генерального директора господина D, действующего на основании зарегистрированного Устава, в соответствии с которым он имеет право представлять общество и подписывать документы от его имени, далее по тексту «Новый Покупатель»
заключили настоящее Соглашение о замене лица в обязательствах из КОНТРАКТА № FR11 от 08 июня 2011 г. о нижеследующем:
1. Все термины, используемые в настоящем Соглашении, трактуются в соответствии с Контрактом № FR11 от 08 июня 2011 г. (далее по тексту – Контракт).
2. Предметом настоящего Соглашения является замена Покупателя во всех обязательствах, вытекающих из Контракта, а также всех приложений, дополнений, изменений и иных соглашений к нему, независимо от того, является Покупатель кредитором или должником в конкретном обязательстве.
Одновременно с заменой Покупателя во всех обязательствах, вытекающих из Контракта, происходит замена Покупателя во всех дополнительных к Контракту обязательствах, упомянутых в тексте Контракта. Замена Покупателя в дополнительных обязательствах неразрывно связана с заменой Покупателя в обязательствах, вытекающих из Контракта.
3. С даты подписания настоящего Соглашения все права и обязанности Покупателя, которые существуют на этот момент или могут возникнуть в будущем при исполнении Контракта или в связи с ним, переходят к Новому Покупателю.
4. На дату подписания настоящего Соглашения выполнены следующие обязательства Продавца и Покупателя:

and
Local Limited Company May, TIN Y, registered at Z, represented by the general director A, acting on the basis of the registered Charter, according to which he is empowered to represent the Company and sign the documents on behalf of it, hereinafter referred to the Purchaser
and
Local Limited Company M, TIN B, registered at C, represented by the general director D acting on the basis of the registered Charter, according to which he is empowered to represent the Company and sign the documents on behalf of it, hereinafter referred to the New Purchaser
and
concluded this Agreement on the substitution of the party
in the obligations from the CONTRACT NO.
FR11 dated 8 June 2011 about the following:
1. All terms used in the given Agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the Contract NO.
FR11 dated 8 June 2011 (hereinafter - the Contract).
2. The subject of this Agreement is the substitution of the Purchaser in all obligations arising from the Contract, as well as all attachments, addenda, changes and other contractual agreements notwithstanding of the Purchaser being a creditor or debtor in the particular obligation.
The Purchaser is substituted in all obligations arising from the Contract simultaneously with his substitution in all additional obligations to the Contract as mentioned in the Contract text. The Purchaser's substitution in the additional obligations is inseparably connected with the Purchaser's substitution in the obligations arising from the Contract.
3. From the day this Agreement being signed, all Purchaser's rights and obligations, existing in this moment or possibly arising in the future during the Contract fulfillment or due to it, shall be transferred to the New Purchaser.
4. As of the day this Agreement being signed, the following obligations of the Seller and Purchaser are fulfilled:
