El hecho de debatir y acordar una definición de competencia ajustada a los objetivos de la Red ha sido un paso importante para facilitar la comunicación entre los integrantes de la
Comunidad Universitaria y hacer operativo tanto el desarrollo del aprendizaje como la evaluación de las competencias que se definan. Así, se ha definido que:
“La competencia consiste en la integración y movilización de conocimientos, normas, técnicas, procedimientos, habilidades y destrezas, actitudes y valores, en contextos diversos y auténticos, evaluable en un buen desempeño”.
En el aprendizaje basado en competencias el enfoque del proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje requiere necesariamente que se parta de un perfil académico-profesional que recoja los conocimientos y competencias que necesitan desarrollar los estudiantes que deseen desempeñar determinados roles profesionales o carreras. Así lo establecen la APA, QAA, EFPA, EuroPsy y otros organismos de reconocida solvencia internacional.
El Perfil resultante, debe estar basado en competencias en consonancia con la realidad nacional chilena y el movimiento que se está dando a nivel universitario en importantes sectores de ámbito internacional (Europa, Asia, América Latina). El Perfil de Egreso o Perfil Académico-Profesional se define como: “El conjunto de características y competencias que facultan que alguien sea reconocido por la sociedad como profesional de la psicología. Dichas Competencias surgen de la realidad social y de la propia disciplina y ciencia psicológica, y están orientadas a la solución de las necesidades sociales previamente evaluadas” (Poblete, 2009).

Discussing and coming to a definition of competence according to the Net aims has been an important step towards enabling communication among members of the University Community while making both learning development and defined competences assessment operative. Thus, the following has been defined:
“Competence consists of integrating and mobilizing knowledge, standards, techniques, procedures, skills and abilities, attitudes and values, in various authentic contexts, which can be evaluated in good performance”.
The approach of the teaching-learning process in learning based on competences requires the starting point to be a professional-academic profile including both knowledge and competences to be acquired by students interested in performing certain professional roles or following certain careers. This is established by APA, QAA, EFPA, EuroPsy, and other entities of international renown.
The resultant profile must be based on competences consonant with Chilean domestic reality and the movement occurring at university level in important areas globally (Europe, Asia, Latin America). The Program Completion Profile or Professional-Academic Profile is defined as: “The set of features and competences enabling somebody to be recognized by society as a professional psychologist. Such Competences emerge from social reality and psychological science and discipline itself, and they are oriented towards meeting social needs previously evaluated” (Poblete, 2009).

Esta Autorización y Exención de Responsabilidad es ejecutada en el día________ de _________de 20 ________ , por ___________
El interesado abajo firmante declara ser mayor de edad, y que desea trabajar como voluntario bajo la dirección de R. P., y B. M., y participar en las actividades relacionadas con un Proyecto de Permacultura ubicado en el estuario Piti-Palena, Pto. Raúl Marín Balmaceda, comuna de Cisnes, región de Aysén en la Patagonia Chilena.
El Voluntario tiene entendido que las actividades pueden incluir labores agrícolas, de pesca, construcción, transporte de carga, desplazamiento en embarcaciones, labores cotidianas rurales y también aquellas extraordinarias resultantes de emergencias o imprevistos en lugares aislados, de difícil acceso y con pocos medios tecnológicos y de asistencia a la mano.
Exención y Renuncia: El Voluntario, por medio de la presente, aprueba la gestión de liberación para siempre, y mantener indemne a R. P. y B. M. y sucesores, y les libera desde ya de cualquier y toda responsabilidad, reclamos, demandas, obligaciones, costos, gastos, honorarios de abogados, las acciones y las causas de la acción de cualquier tipo ó naturaleza, ya sea en derecho o en equidad, que surjan o puedan surgir de las actividades del Voluntario.
El firmante entiende que les esta eximiendo de cualquier responsabilidad ó reclamación que el Voluntario pueda tener con respecto a cualquier daño corporal, daño personal, enfermedad, muerte o daños materiales que puedan resultar de las actividades del Voluntario en el período de convivencia, aun si las causas fuesen la negligencia de alguno de los involucrados o de un tercero.
El Voluntario también entiende que R. P. y B. M. no asumirán ninguna responsabilidad ni obligación de prestar asistencia financiera o de otro tipo de asistencia, incluyendo pero no limitado a médicos de salud o seguro de discapacidad en caso de lesión o enfermedad.

Asunción de Riesgo: El Voluntario entiende que las actividades incluyen trabajo que tal vez sea peligroso para el voluntariado, el Voluntario entiende que los riesgos específicos varían de una actividad a otra, pero van desde lesiones relativamente menores tales como rasguños, contusiones, esguinces, picaduras de insectos u otras reacciones alérgicas, hasta lesiones más graves, incluyendo, pero no limitado a, lesiones en los ojos o pérdida de la vista, cortes ó heridas, huesos rotos ú otras lesiones en las articulaciones o espalda, pérdida de extremidades, parálisis o la muerte.
El Voluntario expresamente y específicamente asume el riesgo de lesiones o daños en las actividades y libera a R. P. y B. M. de toda responsabilidad por lesiones, enfermedades, muerte o daños a la propiedad resultantes de las actividades.
Seguros: El Voluntario entiende que R. P. y B. M. ni el Proyecto ofrecen ni mantienen seguro de salud médico ni seguro de discapacidad para cualquier voluntario. Se espera de cada voluntario y se le alienta a obtener su propia cobertura de seguro médico ó de salud.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND
INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (“AGREEMENT”)
IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to utilize the facilities and property owned by R. P. and B. M. (hereinafter referred to as “Releasees”) for participation in the activities related to the Relesees’ Permaculture Project located at Piti-Palena Estuary, Raúl Marín Balmaceda Port, Cisnes district, Aysén region, Chilean Patagony (hereinafter referred to as “Activities”), I for myself and on behalf of any personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, hereby acknowledge, agree, and represent that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activities. I acknowledge that if I believe Activities conditions are unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation in the Activites. I acknowledge that I have been informed that the Activities may include:
Agricultural, fishing, and construction work, as well as cargo transporting, travelling on vessels of various kinds, ordinary rural work, and also unexpected tasks resulting from emergencies or unforeseen events occurring in places which are isolated, not very accessible, and with few technological and assistance means available.
I further represent that I am fully aware that the Activities described above may involve certain risks, which may be caused by my own actions, or inactions, those of others participating in the Activities, the conditions in which the Activities take place, or the negligence of the “releasees” named above.
IN FURTHER CONSIDERATION OF BEING PERMITTED TO ENTER THE PREMISES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITIES DESCRIBED ABOVE, I HEREBY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
I, ON MY BEHALF AND THAT OF ANY PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, HEIRS, AND NEXT OF KIN, HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE R. P., B. I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT AWARENESS of dangers and risks associated with the activities described above, ranging from scratches, bruises, strained muscles, insect bites and other allergic responses, to more serious injuries, including but not limited to eye injury or sight loss, cuts, broken bones, other joint or spine injuries, limb loss, paralysis, and death.
I HEREBY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE due to negligence of Releasee or otherwise while in, about or upon the premises of the Releasees’ and/or while using the premises or any facilities or equipment or participating in any activities thereon.
I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releasees and each of them from any loss, liability, damage, claim, lawsuit, obligation, expense, cost or fee they may incur due to my presence in, upon or about the premises or my in any way using any facilities or equipment or participating in any activities pertaining to the Project herein, even if caused by negligence of the Releasee or otherwise.
I HEREBY AGREE to use my best judgment while engaging in the activities, and further agree to abide by all rules, instructions, policies and procedures imposed by the Releasees relating to the use of the facilities or property, and behavior therein.
I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTAND that it shall not be the Releasees’ responsibility or obligation to provide for financial or any other assistance whatsoever, including but not limited to health care and disability insurance in case of disease or injury.
I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTAND that neither the Releasees nor the Project herein offer or hold a health or a disability insurance plan for any Volunteer. I further acknowledge and understand that each Volunteer is advised and expected to hire their own health and safety insurance themselves.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that I am of legal age and competent to execute this Agreement, that I do so of my own free will and accord, voluntarily and without duress, and that I do so intending to bind myself, my executor, heirs, and administrators or assigns to the fullest extent.
I HAVE READ AND VOLUNTARILY SIGN THE AGREEMENT, and further agree that no oral representations, statements of inducement apart from the foregoing written Agreement have been made.
