Loveson Gopo is a lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe. He is a holder of a Master of Arts Degree in African Languages and Literature from the University of Zimbabwe, and is currently undertaking Doctoral studies in Translation ad Interpretation. He lectures Translation and Interpretation, as well as Lexicography, Language Planning and Orthography, Ndebele Phonology and Morphosyntax (Theoretical Aspects of Ndebele Linguistic Structure), as well as Comparative Aspects of Nguni Dialects. He possesses Native competence in Ndebele and Shona, and is an English - Ndebele and English - Shona translation expert. He has translated for numerous international and local organisations, and has vested interest in Terminology Development.
