Born in a family in which travelling abroad and discovering different cultures has always been a way of life and part of our professional development, at a very young age I became attracted to learning languages and connecting and mediating between different cultures. Later, my knowledge of the world and my ability to adapt to multicultural contexts allowed me to work in the field of international cooperation, where I discovered how translators can contribute to make a difference in other people’s lives, and since then, this has been one of career goals. My curiosity has helped me combine work and many worlds I am interested in, such as gender studies, the arts, and the food industry. By exposing myself to different experiences, I was able to strengthen my flexibility, teamwork and creative problem-solving skills, skills I also try to foster in my students. I love what I do because in each new project I get to learn a lot and I help others learn too.
