I'm a professional Interpreter and Translator, working as a freelancer in London. I have recently also qualified as a subtitler and a voice-over artist. I've been working full-time since 2004 and have gathered a lot of experience both as interpreter and translator, specialising in finance, tourism, fashion and semi-technical documents. In the past I've translated Rafael Nadal's biography from English into Italian, for Sperling & Kupfer publishing house.
As an interpreter I've been working a lot during EWC (European Works Council) meetings, but I'm comfortable with many other subjects. For instance, I've recently interpreted during an event organised by Zurich at the Houses of Parliament, where I had to translate a presentation from Vicky Price, former Joint Head of the UK's Government Economic Service. I'm also starting to specialise in medical conferences, and to that end I have interpreted at the recent Orthokeratology conference organised by EUROK in Budapest. |
