Bio
French native speaker,
I have a passion for foreign languages and cultures. I studied Latin and Ancient
Greek, German, and English in high school, and then English, Japanese and German
at university. After graduating, I worked as a language teacher and as a
trilingual production assistant at the Japanese Broadcasting Corporation (NHK).
Then my career took an unexpected and
exciting new path which led me to Africaand theDevelopment Sector when I
joined the Secretariat of Association for
the Development of Education (ADEA)then
hosted by the UNESCO/IIEP (Paris) where I was responsible for a wide range of
duties, including in-house translation and management of external translation.
When ADEA moved in Tunis to be hosted by the African Development Bank (AfDB), I seized this opportunity to start
my own business as a translator.
2019 marks the 10th anniversary
of my business. Over the past 10 years I have gained a unique hindsight and
knowledge in the field of international cooperation and development. My field
of expertise covers education, gender and health issues, UN and African Union agendas
and initiatives. Over the years it extended to include other development issues
such as finance, ICTs, Peace & Conflict Resolution, Statistics and Indicators,
Sustainable Development and Climate Change). My customer portfolio includes several
UNESCO institutes and field offices and African Development Bank programs as
well as NGOs such as the Forum for African Women Educators (FAWE).
