With over 20 years of experience in the language industry, I
bring a deep understanding of translation, localization, and content validation
processes, whilst leveraging my
expertise in CAT tools and quality assurance. My career spans roles such as Translator, Reviewer, Localization Manager, Project Manager,
and Mentor for aspiring translators. 

Over the years, I have worked (in-house and as a translator/reviewer) in projects like: Nokia, Microsoft, Porsche, Caterpillar, Dell, Amazon, and Tetra Pak, delivering quality
localization and content validation services.

During my tenure as Localization
Manager at Nokia, I implemented a Content Validation Process for Latin America,
reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance in user guides. My work at Novell
as Brazilian Portuguese Language Lead improved localized software quality and
established streamlined processes for localization projects. Earlier in my
career, I contributed to BowneGlobal and PeopleSoft, ensuring top-notch
language quality for software and documentation.

My passion for languages and cultural adaptation drives my work in content
creation, transcreation, and localization across industries such as technology,
finance, and sustainability. As a mentor for Mentoria de Tradução do Canal do Tradutor @canaldotradutor, I support new translators in
mastering CAT tools, translation techniques, and industry best practices,
helping them build successful careers.
