I have been working as a translator for marketing and advertising since 2011 and have contributed to big advertising campaigns of some of the world's leading consumer brands. I am happy to work with AI and a range of CAT-Tools.

Before becoming a professional translator I studied Hotel Management in Switzerland and Literature and Language Teaching in Italy. After my degree in Translation and Interpreting, I did a PGDip in Education with focus on diversity and equality. When I am not translating, I run thelanguagehub.co.uk in Glasgow, where my team and I offer an inclusive space for learners of all ages and background, a Cafe and event space. At the Hub, we work with vulnerable people including people seeking asylum or victims of domestic abuse. 

I am also an interpreting trainer at Heriot-Watt University after being an interpreting examiner at the National University for Ireland in Galway for several years. I used to teach German at the University of Glasgow, the University of Strathclyde as well as the Goethe Institute Glasgow, where I worked as a team member and later the Head of Education Services. Furthermore, you may know my voice from Coffee Break German.
