Maíra Monteiro has been a Language Coordinator for four years. Her main tasks are: translation, review and quality assurance of websites, user guides, help files, audio subtitles, technical, promotional and corporate documents for clients around the world. Besides coordinating translation teams, she develops and maintains glossaries and style guides, employing methods to improve the quality of service. She also works as a freelance translator and proofreader for some publishing houses and institutions in Brazil.

With a graduate degree in Translation, she worked as a teacher for more than 5 years in English courses and at a private school. As a Language Specialist, she has acquired good knowledge of different localization tools available in the market. She also deals with terminology of several industries including IT, Tourism, Legal, Medical, Management, among others.
