My main areas of expertise include fashion
translation, music and arts, culinary and/or food processing, travel/tourism
and wellness/recreation, but I have also performed a huge amount of business and technical translations, especially in the first few years of my
freelance career (e.g. manuals, safety data sheets, catalogues,
website contents) and in various other fields like IT, gaming etc. Additional
to my  translation services, I also offer
editing, transcription or subtitling.
My main fields of interest include arts and music, literature, food/cooking,
gardening and swimming.

Due to my passion for travelling and extended stays and work abroad while
subsequently keeping in touch with the written and spoken word in both my
target languages, I dispose of profound language and intercultural knowledge and a solid understanding of slang and
dialects. These skills are completed by my decade-long work experience as a language teacher in different
settings and countries, i.e. former assignments as BAMF-certified teacher of
German as foreign language and previous positions as teacher of technical and
non-technical English.
