Source text - English The development of pneumonia as a result of aspiration is related to several factors including host defenses, the quantity of material aspirated and the virulent nature of the organism. Therapeutic interventions such as endotracheal intubation bypass the defenses of the upper airway placing the patient at risk for nosocomial and ventilator associated pneumonia. Therefore, any effort that limits the need for endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation or limits the duration of these interventions is desirable. The use of noninvasive ventilation should be employed when possible to limit the need for intubation. This noninvasive ventilation strategy uses a nasal mask or facemask to deliver ventilation and if effective may prevent or delay the need for endotracheal
intubation.
Translation - Spanish Hay varios factores que influyen en la aparición de la neumonía producida por aspiración, entre los que se encuentran el estado inmunológico del paciente, la cantidad de material aspirado y la naturaleza virulenta del germen. Las intervenciones terapéuticas como la intubación endotraqueal ocasionan que el aire respirado no pase por las barreras naturales de defensa de la vía aérea superior, lo que ayuda que aparezca la neumonía, tanto intrahospitalaria como asociada al ventilador mecánico. Por tanto, es bueno realizar cualquier acción que disminuya la necesidad de utilizar la intubación endotraqueal y la ventilación mecánica, o que limite la duración de estas intervenciones. En esta estrategia de ventilación no invasiva se usa una máscara nasal o facial para ventilar y así se puede evitar o retardar la intubación endotraqueal de forma eficaz.

Source text - English This Agreement shall be deemed to have been executed and delivered within the State of Colorado, United States of America. The parties hereto agree that any dispute concerning the terms of this Agreement shall be governed by Colorado law and resolved through an action commenced in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.
This Agreement is deemed to have been drafted jointly by the parties. Hence, in any construction to be made of this Agreement, the same shall not be construed against any party on the basis that the party was the drafter.
The parties acknowledge that they have entered into this Agreement voluntarily, without coercion and based upon their own judgment and the advice of competent legal counsel, and not in reliance upon any representations or promises made by any party other than those contained in this Agreement.

Le retentissement de ces affections au plan familial et scolaire, voire même au plan économique et pathologique, revêt une importance certaine et doit être pris en compte au moment du choix de la thérapeutique. Un autre élément est également déterminant dans la décision thérapeutique: la notion de terrain. C'est en effet dans cette pathologie récidivante que la notion de « terrain » particulier, fragilisé, défaillant prend toute sa valeur et justifie l'utilisation de traitements dits « modificateurs de terrain » ou agissant sur les moyens de défense de l'organisme.
Nombreux sont les travaux prouvant in vitro et in vivo, le rôle immunostimulant de l'Isoprinosine sur l'activité des macrophages et des populations lymphocytaires B et T. Son mode d'action complexe s'oppose à sa facilité de prescription et à son absence d'effets secondaires.

En efecto, es precisamente en este tipo de patología recidivante que el estado general del paciente, especialmente si se trata de un niño frágil, cobra gran importancia, y por ello se justifica el uso de tratamientos que modifican las condiciones de base del paciente o que actuan sobre los mecanismos de defensa del organismo.
Muchos estudios, realizados tanto in vivo como in vitro, demuestran la acción inmunoestimulante del Isoprinosine® sobre los macrófagos y los linfocitos B y T. La complejidad de su modo de acción contrasta con lo fácil de su administración y la ausencia de efectos secundarios.
